Here we are on a beautiful autum day just on the out skirts of Canterbury getting ready to see the cathedral and city walls, its been 14 years since I lived in Canterbury and im wondering what faces I may see on the high street or even more interesting is in the cherry tree public house. where I spent many a drunken night either working or drinking. Tomorrow we are taking the euro tunnel and start the journey to Rome if the old addage is correct "all roads lead to Rome" I shouldn't need to worry about the maps on the gps or the route we should get there in the end.
